Information we collect

When you browse Choice Harbor, standard server and CDN logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. If you email us, we keep your message and address to respond and maintain an editorial record.

How we use information

• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Respond to editorial or business inquiries.
• Measure aggregate page views and Core Web Vitals with Cloudflare Web Analytics, and aggregate outbound affiliate-link clicks with Workers Analytics Engine.

Cookies and analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures how pages load and how often they are viewed. Cloudflare's documentation says this product does not use cookies or localStorage for those metrics, and does not fingerprint visitors to display analytics.

When you select an affiliate link, this site sends a click event to a same-origin endpoint. Workers Analytics Engine stores the partner program, article, article type, and CTA position so we can measure aggregate link performance. The event record does not include an IP address, user agent, cookie, email address, account identifier, or cross-page identifier. Google Analytics, advertising pixels, and other third-party marketing tools are not attached. If that changes, this policy will name the tool and any cookie or opt-out details then.
